I must first apolages for my lack of posting recently, this is due to the fact that i have been away on holiday, Visiting my parents in South Wales, UK. Also got a lovely tan just from being out and about.
On the garden front It is going totally mad with the combination of the weather, as with most of the years i have grown tatties they have been effected my potatoe blight. I think i might have to infest in some blight residant variety.
Althought the plot as adopted is looking ok and not be effect as all so far (fingures crossed)
The snap pea are going mad and have produced another 500grams of pods on the day of my return
I and picked another turnip from thinging with weights 61grams.
The tatties that I have picked that came from the blighted crop weight 2.236 kilograms,which i think is okay considering that they are pot grown and very early (i put them in very late)
On the herb front on the day of my return i picked lots of sage,lavender, anjelica for drying these sprigs are haning in the cubpard in my kitchen so they don’t get bleached my the sun. ( did have then hanging to the side of the window but they were getting to much sun and fadinging incolour.
